Cascina Gilli is located on the outskirts of Castelnuovo Don Bosco on the “strada del vino” of the Monferrato Astigiano area (of the province of Asti), also known as the “Terra dei Santi” (land of the saints).
In addition to the places where Don Bosco lived and worked, and at a distance of a few kilometres from Cascina Gilli, you can visit places of historical significance and of natural splendour; jewels of Romaneque architecture, fields of lavender and paths to trek through vineyards, past castles and through medieval villages, amoung the most beautiful in Northern Italy.
Cascina Gilli welcomes winelovers and curious travellers all year round for wine tastings; guests will be introduced to the history of the various grapes, to the intense activity of research and production of the indigenous varieties of grapes.

Welcomed on the terrace overlooking the vineyards, embraced by the vines of our Bricco Gilli, our guests are guided through the tasting of four native wines of the region—a selection that has played a key role in the history of Cascina Gilli.
The experience includes the unmissable glass of Malvasia di Castelnuovo Don Bosco.
Enjoy a selection of our aged wines
Welcomed in the heart of our vineyards and then seated in the indoor tasting room or the panoramic outdoor areas, our wine lovers will be guided through the tasting of four wines, including at least two from our Superior labels: Freisa, Nebbiolo, and Barbera in their most full bodied and complex versions.
A selection designed for indulging in the pleasure of great red wines. The tasting will conclude with a sip of the iconic Malvasia di Castelnuovo Don Bosco.
Vintage Tasting
An experience designed for those who want to take their time and truly explore our wines — savoring every nuance and discovering the remarkable potential behind some of our most distinguished labels.
The tasting includes five wines: two aged in stainless steel and three “Superiore” selections, one of which is an exclusive old vintage from the winery’s private collection wines.
